Maghull Baptist Church is situated at the junction of Hall Lane and Northway (A59), diagonally opposite Maghull Town Hall. Address : Hall lane, Maghull, L31 3DY.

 

By Car: From the M6: Exit the M6 at junction 26, signposted M58 Southport and Liverpool. Continue along the M58 and exit at Junction 1,  signposted Kirkby and Maghull. Turn right (3rd exit) at the roundabout on leaving the motorway and continue into Maghull. Pass the shops on the right hand side down to the junction with the A59.  At the traffic lights,  turn left onto the A59 dual carriageway through another set of lights towards Liverpool. Continue on this road over a canal bridge and down to another set of traffic lights. Turn left at these lights and the church is on your right hand side. The car park is situated behind the church.

 

Locally from the north : Follow the A59 towards Liverpool, heading south from Ormskirk. Continue straight ahead across 2 roundabouts and straight ahead through the next 2 sets of traffic lights past Maghull town centre. Passing St Andrews Parish church on the left and going over the canal bridge, turn left at the traffic lights into Hall Lane at the bottom of the bridge. The church is on the right hand side - turn first right into Old Hall Road and first right into the car park.

 

Locally from the south: Travel north on A5036 or A59 towards Ormskirk and Preston through Aintree and across Switch Island at the end of the M58/M57. Continue on the A59 through the traffic lights with “The Alt” public house on the right. At the next traffic lights, turn right into Hall Lane. The church is on the right hand side -  turn first right into Old Hall Road and first right into the car park.

 

By Train: Disembark at Maghull train station on the Merseyrail Northern Line running between Liverpool Central Station and Ormskirk. On leaving the station, walk past “The Mogul” public house and continue down Station Road past the shops. Continue following this road, cross over the canal bridge and continue down Hall Lane. The church is located on the left hand side of Hall Lane just before the junction with Northway.

 

By Bus: Using the Arriva bus service you need either  the 300 or 210 service through Maghull and leave at the Liverpool Road South/Hall Lane bus stop next to “The Meadows” public house. With the pub behind you walk down Hall Lane to the traffic lights and cross the dual carriageway using the pedestrian bridge. Continue down Hall Lane and the church is on the right hand side.
