I'm New - What to Expect
Welcome to Maghull Baptist Church. We are pleased you are thinking about visiting us here at MBC. Whether you are new to the area and looking for a church or maybe exploring the Christian Faith, we would love to meet you.
It can be daunting visiting a church for the first time so here is everything you need to know to make it as easy as possible.
Visiting us on a Sunday
We meet every Sunday at 11am in person at the Church and again in the evening on Zoom at 7 pm
Our Sunday services are an opportunity for us to connect with God, hear bible based teaching and join together in worship. We are a family Church with many different ages and it is a great opportunity for us to connect with each other.
You can find us on Hall lane, Maghull off the A59. We have our own car park, which is accessed from Old Hall Road.
What to Expect?
Our Sunday Morning service starts at 11am and usually last about an hour. We keep things informal so come as you are - no dress code!
There is a baby area to the left of the church as you go in and also tables with little chairs for any younger ones who attend to get involved in some colouring or making as part of the church service.
We start with a time of worship, a welcome with any notices of events coming up.
There is then a talk based on the bible and how this is relevant to our everyday life and any little ones are usually invited to colour or make something at the same time the talk is going on.
We are a family church so please don't worry about any little ones making some noise, but if they do get upset there are some toys in our big hall down the corridor.
We usually have time for a chance for a chat and a catch up. So we hope you get a chance to stay and chat for a while or to ask us any questions!
Evening services start at 7pm and at the moment we meet on Zoom.
It is important for us as a church that we are fully assessible and inclusive. We have wheelchair assess, disabled toilet, baby change facilities and a hearing loop system in place.
